"Arrived on Time, but Check It Carefully"
The wardrobe was delivered right on schedule, which was a plus. But when we unboxed it, one corner was chipped, which was frustrating for something brand new. Customer service did get back to me after a couple of days and offered a small refund, so at least they acknowledged it. It’s still usable and looks okay overall, but I’d definitely recommend checking all the corners and edges as soon as you open it, just in case you need to report any damage

"Returning my order was way more frustrating than it should’ve been"
I tried to return my order it ended up being such a hassle. The instructions weren’t very clear, and I felt like I kept having to chase someone just to get a straight answer. It took way longer than I expected, and even by the end, I didn’t really feel like I got much help. The furniture itself might be fine, but the whole returns experience definitely made me think twice about ordering again. Has anyone else had the same issue with returns?

"Decent, but not exactly a bargain"
The furniture is fine and the ordering process wasn’t a disaster, so I’ll give them that. But I found the exact same pieces cheaper on other sites right after I ordered, which was annoying. Not the worst experience, just not as competitively priced as they seem to think.

Overall it was okay, but the instructions could definitely be clearer. I ended up spending more time than I expected trying to figure out a few parts, not the end of the world, but a bit frustrating when you just want to get things done. Once I got past that, it was fine, but yeah, clearer directions would make a big difference

"Slow delivery, not worth it"
Delivery took forever. I kept checking the tracking and it was the same useless update every time, like the delivery geniuses couldn’t be bothered to update anything. The furniture finally showed up late, but by then I was already over it. Not ordering from them again.

I had a hard time finding what I was looking for. The pages also loaded slowly, which made the whole thing a bit frustrating. It worked eventually, but the experience could definitely be smoother.

"decent for the price, but not perfect"
i bought a sofa and a small table from furnituremaxi. delivery was fine and everything looked nice when it arrived, but after a few months the table has started to feel a bit wobbly and the sofa cushions aren’t really holding their shape as well as i’d hoped. it’s not awful, especially for the price, but i did expect it to last a bit better. 3 stars from me...

"Okay overall, but the delivery was a bit of a hassle"
I ordered a wardrobe from furnituremaxi and, to be fair, it did turn up in one piece, which was the main thing I was worried about. The actual wardrobe was fine, but the delivery side wasn’t the smoothest. The date changed once, and I only found out because I checked myself, which was a bit annoying. When it finally arrived, the driver was polite and everything went okay, but I’d already spent time waiting around and not knowing what was happening. So overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but it wasn’t amazing either. Average for me.

I ended up asking for a refund after changing my mind on an order, which was my own fault. I’d ordered it late at night while half-watching a cooking show, then woke up the next morning thinking, yeah, maybe I don’t actually need that right now.
I expected the refund process to be annoying, but it was actually really straightforward. They got back to me quickly, kept me updated, and didn’t make me jump through loads of hoops or explain myself five times.

The money came back when they said it would, which was a nice surprise because I was already bracing myself to chase it up. No weird excuses, no messing about, just handled properly. Fair play to them.

I ordered a chair last week because the website said it was in stock, but a day or two later I got a message saying it was actually unavailable. I waited around for an update, and after a few more days I ended up just canceling the order. Frustrating, honestly. They really need to keep the stock info on the site more accurate

From what I remember, the courier texted me before arriving, which was helpful. They brought the box in without any trouble, and the whole thing was easy. No complaints here, I was happy with it

I had a question about my order and, i was already tired just thinking about having to deal with customer service again. But they got back to me quickly, were polite, and managed to sort it out without turning it into a huge back-and-forth. It did take one extra message to clear everything up, but overall it was a good experience.

"Good wardrobe for the price"
I bought a wardrobe from Furniture Maxi and for the money it’s decent, delivery did take a little longer than I was hoping but it wasn’t a huge deal, once it was built it looked nice and felt sturdy enough, so overall I’m happy with it and I’d probably buy from them again as long as the prices stay fair.

"Had an issue with a wardrobe…"
Had an issue with a wardrobe delivery where one of the panels arrived cracked and a few screws were missing. Customer service did get back to me, but every reply took a few days and I had to chase them twice, which was really frustrating. They did eventually send the replacement parts, so it got sorted in the end, but the whole process took nearly 3 weeks. i kind of regret not reading the reviews properly first because after spending that much, I expected the support to be a lot smoother. Not the worst experience ever, but definitely more hassle than it should’ve been.
